Connect SCL to What Your School Already Uses

SCL is built to sit alongside the systems your school already runs. Administrators enable an identity provider so staff sign in with an account they already have, connect a payment gateway so parents settle invoices online, and pair SCL with the timetable software their scheduler prefers.The main connections live in the Integrations section of the admin area: Authentications, aSc TimeTables, Safe Exam Browser, SCL Connect and API keys. Others sit with the module they serve, so payment gateways are set up under Billing and the email and SMS senders under Settings.What that adds up to is fewer parallel systems and less re-keyed data. Your scheduler builds the master timetable in the tool they know and imports it back with a preview before anything saves, and a parent pays an invoice in the same place they read the report card.

Sign-In and Access

Single Sign-On Providers

Enable Edurealm, Google or Microsoft and the provider appears on your school's login page straight away. Staff and students sign in with an account they already hold, so your office resets one less password.

Linked Accounts

Each user links their own SCL account to a provider from their profile, and can remove that link just as easily. Sign-in becomes password-free without an administrator having to touch individual accounts.

Credentials Without the Console Work

SCL registers itself with Edurealm and stores the issued credentials for you. For Google and Microsoft you paste a Client ID and Secret, and SCL shows the exact redirect URI to register at the provider.

Named API Keys

Issue a named key for a system that needs to read student, grade, invoice or support ticket data, and lock it to specific IP addresses. Every request is logged, so you can see what queried what.

Payments and Compliance

Online Payment Gateways

Connect Kashier or Amazon Payment Services and parents settle invoices and admission fees online. Each gateway carries its own display name, transaction fees and test or production mode, and one is marked as the school default.

Card, Wallet and Instalments

Kashier accepts card payments, mobile wallets and bank instalments, while Amazon Payment Services can take EGP, USD, GBP or EUR. Parents pay by the method that suits them, with no trip to the school office.

Egyptian Tax Authority e-Invoicing

Schools in Egypt can submit billing invoices straight to the national e-invoicing system, in pre-production first and then production. SCL keeps a callback log of every submission, so finance can see what was accepted.

Offline Payments Recorded Too

Cash, bank transfer and payment terminal are set up as gateways in their own right, so a payment taken at the front desk lands in the same ledger as an online one. Billing balances stay accurate either way.

Timetabling, Teaching and Exams

aSc TimeTables, Both Directions

Send classrooms, subjects, teachers and teaching groups to aSc TimeTables as XML, build the master timetable there, then bring the finished schedule back. The import previews every change before you confirm it, and can be reverted.

Safe Exam Browser

Upload a Safe Exam Browser configuration and its exam key so an interactive assignment only opens inside the locked-down browser, on Windows, macOS or iOS. Students cannot switch to another tab or application mid-assessment.

Live Classes on BigBlueButton

SCL runs its own virtual classrooms on BigBlueButton, with recording, guest policy and viewer controls set by the school. Attendance is captured from the session itself, so teachers do not mark it twice.

Bring Your Own Meeting Link

A teacher who already runs lessons in Zoom, Google Meet or Microsoft Teams pastes that invitation link instead, and SCL labels the session with the provider. Students find it in exactly the same place as an SCL session.

Content, Messaging and Data

Book Data by ISBN

Type an ISBN and SCL fills in the title, author, publisher and cover art from Google Books and Open Library. Missing covers across the whole library catalog can be fetched in one background run.

SCL Connect

Pair your divisions, grades and subjects to the shared Edurealm taxonomy and SCL's cloud services become available to teachers. Pairing is opt-in, so a subject only appears once your school has connected it.

Your Own Mail Server

Point SCL at your school's SMTP server so system mail leaves from your own domain, and set the sender name that appears on outbound SMS. Newsletters, invoices and reminders then look like they came from you.

Import and Export by CSV

Bring students in from a CSV file, bulk-import a library catalog from a downloadable template, and export gradebooks, rosters and assignments back out. Large imports run in the background with a progress read-out.
