on SCL 5.2 we will focus more on enhancing the User Experience of Virtual Classrooms, Newsletter & Questions Bank

New Features

  • Web Push Notification
  • Interactive Assignment
    • Now when you create a new Interactive assignment you must fill out Assignment Topic & Keywords
    • Keywords will be automatically generated but preferred to populate it with your own keywords will be used on the new assignment created questions
    • Synchronize Questions Bank, will allow teachers to automatically add & update all questions in interactive assignments to Questions Bank
    • Syncing in Question bank will be the future assignment default unless is disabled
    • Backward Compatible with previously created Questions before this update
  • Virtual Classrooms
    • Huge Improvement on the response time from getting Sessions Info, Sessions List & Creation time of Virtual Classroom
    • Fixed in rare situations Session not ended properly and make Virtual Classroom Class duration very accurate for the future sessions

    • Now Newsletter message will be handled in background services, which mean sending a new message from your end only gonna take less than a moment and the rest is SCL Cloud job
    • Duplicate any Messages from Queue History only message data, attachments need to be reselected
    • Ability to Pause Queue
    • When SMS credit is insufficient, the queue will be automatically paused until you recharge and resume your Queue
    • Ability to real-time monitor the queue progress
    • Retract Messages has been removed from PM History, and now we have introduced a better rework of Messages Recall only available at Newsletter Queue
    • PM History has been dropped in favor of Messages Queue and introducing a new UX of handling messages History
    • Show Badge Notification for Messages Required Approval, only user group with Modify access on Queue can see this badge counter
    • Ability to See Queue Stats for Messages read vs unread in a Pie Chart
  • Added Settings control in System Settings for 'Enforce parent to create father & mother contacts'
  • SCL Datatables has now Columns Control which may get you control during your session which columns you want to show or hide
  • Incident Description is now added to Behaviours Incidents to show it to go to Columns then check Incident Descriptions
